Our Case Studies follow the successes of some of our valued partners. Checking in with our customers to see how their projects are progressing gives us a much-needed insight to the what works for them and how we can best support them further, if required. For the following Customer Success Story, we spoke with Mr Gary Gillespie about his experience implementing our 3devo Plastic Shredder into his curriculum for high school engineering students. Check out the Case Study here!
The GP20 Plastic Shredder is the first component for those looking for an in-house recycling solution. The dual design makes it possible to recycle plastic of any shape and size into material ready to be transformed into new 3D printing filament.
You can explore the full specs of our intergrated shredder-granulator by checking our product page.
Gary Gillespie is the Computer Science and Engineering teacher for Spokane School District, based in Washington, USA. Mr Gillespie wanted to encourage his students to work autonomously, develop their problem-solving skills, and lead their own projects with confidence and without fear of making mistakes. Combining this with a need for a more sustainable process, Mr Gillespie and the Spokane School District decided to invest in a 3devo GP20 Plastic Shredder and Filament Maker ONE.
In Mr Gillespie's eyes, this is the best way to nurture the next generation of engineers and ingrain sustainable practices from the very start.
