Looking Back at Past, Present, and Future!

It’s hard to imagine how excited we were to celebrate our 3-year anniversary two years ago, only to be here now, celebrating our 5th year!

As a start-up this milestone is one that we had always hoped for, and worked towards, and considering the past year we have all experienced, we’re so grateful to be able to achieve it. The past year has been a wild one to say the least, with uncertainty and changes all around. While we did have to adjust and work from home for a period, we were able to continue our operations as usual (with some extra distance), with the same team we had pre-pandemic.

Business hasn’t been entirely as usual, expos which allowed us to meet and exchange expertise with innovators, research and industry-leading experts were put on hold, as were our ability to invite you to our offices and lab for trainings.

Since June 6th, 2016, we’ve experienced a lot of growth, not just as a company, our products and service portfolio, but also as a team. Many who started as interns back in 2016 have stayed on as full-time employees to this day. With the growth of seven new additions to the team in 2021 alone, we are thrilled to have created distinct departments where everyone has found their place. With the addition of our latest Sustainability Department, we can’t help but take a trip down memory lane and see what else we’ve been able to accomplish together.

We sat down with our colleagues from different departments and our CEO and Founder, Tim Wesselink to discuss the major milestones and fond memories that have happened and led to 3devo’s fifth birthday.
