3devo grants a standard limited warranty on the filament maker series (“Product”) in the country where the Product was purchased.
The Supplier offers a limited warranty that the Product will be free from Defects in material, design and workmanship during the Warranty Period of twelve (12) months. Any warranty obligation of the Supplier under this section is expressly conditioned on the Purchaser’s compliance with the Contract.
For a warranty claim to be valid (i) notification must be made before the end of the warranty period, (ii) conform to any additional stipulations of the warranty, as defined below, (iii) must be substantiated with the original customer’s purchase invoice, (iv) the serial number sticker must still be on the Product(s) and (v) the Product must be returned in the original packaging. Since customers will only be entitled to make a warranty claim on submission of the original invoice and packaging, we advise that both the invoice and official packaging are kept in a safe place. If the original packaging is not available anymore, the customer can purchase such for an additional amount of EUR 30 or equivalent in applicable local currency.
If a part of the Product is repaired or replaced during the warranty period, the warranty period still remaining for the entire Product will apply to this part. However, repair and/or replacement will not extend the warranty period.
The coverage of the limited warranty includes any Defects to the Product under typical use during the Warranty Period and which is not specifically excluded in paragraph ‘Exclusions’.
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear or as a result of the Product being opened or repaired by someone not authorized by the Supplier, and does not cover damage caused by: misuse, moisture, liquids, proximity or exposure to heat and accident, abuse, non-compliance with the instructions supplied with the Product, neglect or misapplication. The limited warranty does not cover physical damage to the surface of the Product.
Specifically excluded from the limited warranty:
In order to make a claim for a Defect, the Purchaser must contact the Supplier by email (email@example.com) during the Warranty Period to explain the Defect and to obtain a Return Materials Authorization number if necessary. The Product must be returned to the Supplier as soon as possible following notification of the Defect by the Purchaser, along with an explanation of the Defect, to the address provided by the Supplier. The returned Product is subject to inspection by the Supplier. The Purchaser must comply with any other return procedures stipulated by the Supplier, if any. The Purchaser shall bear the risk of damage to the Product resulting from its failure so to notify. The Purchaser shall take reasonable measures to minimize damage and shall in that respect comply with instructions of the Supplier.
This warranty is exclusively governed by Dutch law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this warranty will be exclusively submitted to the jurisdiction of the court (rechtbank) of Midden-Nederland, location Utrecht.
